The Search Engine Giant Google has officially named the next version of Android which is due to be released this fall to Android 10 (earlier referred as Android Q), ending the 10 years history of sweet names to its new versions of Android.
Not just the name of the next version of Android OS is changed but Google has announced major changes to the Android released in the official blog post.



The logo of Android has been changed and Aude Gandon, global brand director for Android says that the updated logo of Android has “more modern” wordmark.
All Android Version names before Android 10:
- Cupcake (1.5)
- Donut (1.6)
- Eclair (2.0, 2.1)
- Froyo (2.2)
- Gingerbread (2.3, 2.4)
- Honeycomb (3.0, 3.1, and 3.2)
- Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0)
- Jelly Bean (4.1)
- KitKat (4.4)
- Lollipop (5.X)
- Marshmallow (6.X)
- Nougat (7.X)
- Oreo (8.X)
- Pie (9.X)
The company says that it will start using the updated logo of Android when the Android 10 will be released officially.
