A new report from the group Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) has announced that they have added a new feature to the Bluetooth, a direction finding
The new feature will help the Bluetooth based lost device finding solution makers to enhance their working. Currently Bluetooth track devices by measuring their signal strength but they have a wide accuracy range of one and 10 meters.
With the new feature the device will be found on the basis of the what direction a signal is coming from, not just its distance, to make that measurement more exact and the distance will be within centimeters.
