Asus has announced the Zenfone 9 that comes in as the successor to the Asus Zenfone 8 launched last year.

Asus Zenfone 9 has a 5.9-inch FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate Super AMOLED display with 1100 nits of peak brightness, it offers ~84.6% screen-to-body ratio, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+ support with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection in the front and polymer protection on the back of the device.
It includes a 12MP (f/2.5) selfie camera with dual pixel PDAG that sits inside the tiny punch hole cutout on the top left of the display that offers up to 4K video recording support. It offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication and multiple other features that can be customized for single, double and triple tap.
Asus Zenfone 9 comes in power with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset that is paired with 8GB/16GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1) with no expandable memory support. It features a dual-lens camera setup with a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF and gimbal OIS support, and a 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 113-degree FOV and AF support.
It offers up to 8K resolution video recording at 24 frames per second.
It includes a 4,300 mAh battery with 30W fast-charging and reverse charging support.
On connectivity, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, NavIC, and a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer.
