Taiwanese tech giant Asus has finally launched the ROG Phone 5 gaming phone that is the successor to the Asus ROG Phone 3 launched last year. The company launched three devices this year with ROG Phone 5, Pro and an Ultimate Edition.

Asus ROG Phone 5 has a 6.78-inch FHD+ 144Hz refresh rate Samsung E4 AMOLED display and a 300Hz touch sampling rate, it offers 20:4:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ with 800 nits of peak brightness support.
Asus ROG Phone 5 series comes in powered with the Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with 12GB, 16GB and 18GB RAM option and up to 512GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1). It offers a massive dual split battery of 6,000 mAh with 65W Hypercharge support that offers battery life for longer gaming session than previous generation and 10W reverse charging support.
It features a horizontal triple-lens rear camera setup with a 64MP (f/1.8) Sony IMX686 primary sensor, a 13MP (f/2.5) ultra-wide-angle lens with 125-degree FOV, and a 5MP macro lens. It also offers a 24MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with 1080p video calling and HDR support.
It offers enhanced AirTrigger 5, motion control sensor, dual front-facing stereo speakers with DIRAC HD sound technology, side-mounted charging port (USB-C 3.1), enhanced ROG Game Cool 5, and Quad-microphones for a better sound experience.
Asus ROG Phone 5 Pricing & Availability
Asus ROG Phone 5 starts at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB +128GB base variant while the 12GB + 256GB top variant is priced at Rs. 57,999 in India. It will be available on Flipkart starting from April 15th in two Phantom black and Storm white color options.
Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is available for €1,199 in Europe while the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is available for €1,299.
Both devices are expected to be released in India later this year.
