Apple has officially announced the new iPhone 13 Pro model of the iPhone 13 series at the Apple California Streaming Event held in Apple Park, California.
The new iPhone 13 Pro has a new 6.1-inch Retina Super Retina XDR 120Hz refresh rate Pro Motion OLED display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 1170 x 2532 pixels resolution, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Wide color gamut, and True-tone support.
It comes in power with the latest Apple A15 Bionic (5nm) chipset which Apple claims is “up to 50 percent faster” than the leading chips in Android smartphones. It comes in with 6GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB NVMe storage options.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro features a square-shaped triple-lens camera setup with a 12MP (f/1.6) primary sensor with dual pixel PDAF and OIS support, a 12MP (f/2.0) telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom, and a 12MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV and a TOF 3D LiDAR scanner (depth sensor) with Quad-LED dual-tone flash.
On the front, it offers a 12MP (f/2.2) selfie camera and an SL 3D (depth/biometric sensor) with up to 4K video recording, face detection, HDR, and Panorama support.
Apple has not revealed the size of the battery but it mentions that the battery includes 18W fast charging support and it takes just 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 50 percent, it also offers 15W Qi fast wireless charging support.
On connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB-C lightning port.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro is available at a starting price of $999 for the 128GB model, there is a 256GB model for $1,099 and a 512GB model for $1,299 available in four colors: gray, stainless steel, gold, and a new blue.
It will be available for pre-order from October 16th and will ship a week later on October 23rd in the United States.
