Apple has officially announced the new iPhone 14 Plus model of the iPhone 14 series launched at the Apple California Streaming Event held in Apple Park, California.
Apple iPhone 14 Plus has a new 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 1284 x 2778 pixels resolution, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Wide color gamut, True-tone, up to 1200 nits of peak brightness support and ceramic glass protection on the front.
It comes in power with the latest Apple A15 Bionic (5nm) chipset which Apple claimed last year is “up to 50 percent faster” than the leading chips in Android smartphones.
Apple iPhone 14 Plus features a square-shaped dual-lens camera setup with diagonally placed sensors that includes a 12MP (f/1.5) primary sensor with dual pixel PDAF and sensor shift OIS support and a 12MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV with dual-LED dual-tone flash that offers [email protected] and Cinematic mode video recording support.
On the front, it offers a 12MP (f/2.2) selfie camera and an SL 3D (depth/biometric sensor) with up to 4K video recording, face detection, HDR, and Panorama support.
It comes in with an improved battery life with faster wired charging that can be charge 0-50% in just 30 minutes and offers 15W MagSafe wireless charging, 7.5W Qi wireless charging support.
On connectivity, it offers dual band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 2.0 lightning port for charging and data transfers.
Apple iPhone 14 Plus is available at a starting price of $899 for the 128GB model, there is a 256GB model for $949 and a 512GB model for $1049 available in five colors: Midnight, Purple, Starlight, Blue and Red.
