Apple has officially announced the new iPhone 13 model of the iPhone 13 series launched at the Apple California Streaming Event held in Apple Park, California.
The new iPhone 13 has a new 6.1-inch Retina Super Retina XDR OLED display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, 1170 x 2532 pixels resolution, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Wide color gamut, True-tone and up to 1200 nits of peak brightness support.
It comes in power with the latest Apple A15 Bionic (5nm) chipset which Apple claims is “up to 50 percent faster” than the leading chips in Android smartphones.
Apple iPhone 13 features a square-shaped dual-lens camera setup with a 12MP (f/1.6) primary sensor with dual pixel PDAF and OIS support and a 12MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV with Quad-LED dual-tone flash.
On the front, it offers a 12MP (f/2.2) selfie camera and an SL 3D (depth/biometric sensor) with up to 4K video recording, face detection, HDR, and Panorama support.
Apple has not revealed the size of the battery but it mentions that the battery includes 18W fast charging support and it takes just 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 50 percent, it also offers 15W Qi fast wireless charging support.
On connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB-C lightning port.
Apple iPhone 13 is available at a starting price of $799 for the 128GB model, there is a 256GB model for $849 and a 512GB model for $949 available in five colors: Starlight, Midnight, Blue, Pink, and Red.
It will be available for pre-order from November 6th ahead of shipping on November 13th in the United States.
