Apple is expected to reveal the new iPhone 12 series along with some other devices at the Apple Event scheduled to be held on October 13th, 2020. This will be the third virtual event held by Apple this year affected due to ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.

Apple is expected to release four new models of the iPhone 12 series including iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Apple iPhone 12 Mini will have a 5.4-inch Retina XDR Display with 64/128/256GB memory available in black, white, red, blue, and green color options starting at $699 in the US.
Apple iPhone 12 will have a 6.1-inch Retina XDR Display with 64/128/256GB memory available in black, white, red, blue, and green color options starting at $799 in the US.
Both the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 will have a dual-lens camera with a primary sensor and a wide-angle lens packed with upgraded camera features like Smart HDR, Deep Fusion, and night mode.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro will have a 6.1-inch Retina XDR Display with 128/256/512GB memory available in gold, silver, graphite, and blue color options starting at $999 in the US.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch Retina XDR Display with 128/256/512GB memory available in gold, silver, graphite, and blue color options starting at $1,099 in the US.
Both the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a triple-lens camera with a primary sensor, a telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom, and a wide-angle lens.
All four models will offer a new glass screen technology with a glass front and glass back with the ceramic substrate to increase the hardness and drop capabilities of the devices.
All models will offer a Smart Data Mode that will automatically switch from 5G to 4G and 4G to 5G depending on the bandwidth allocation to save battery.
All four iPhone models will offer 5G connectivity limited to mmWave standards, will offer 15W wireless charging, and as expected no earphones and charger in the box.
Apple is expected to launch new magnetic chargers (Magsafe Charger, Magsafe Duo Charger) that will be used for wireless charging of the device.
Apple is also expected to launch a new Homepod that will be priced at $99 in the US.
