Alcatel launched the Alcatel 1 (2021) adding a new ultra affordable smartphone to its lineups in Europe that could be a competitor to the newly released Jio Phone Next in India.

Alcatel 1 (2021) has a 5.0-inch 480 x 960 pixels resolution TFT display with a 18:9 aspect ratio screen that has a 2MP selfie camera sits inside the large bezels on the top of the screen. It comes in powered with the Mediatek MT6739 chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB with a dedicated microSD card slot.
It features a 5MP (f/2.4) camera on the back with an LED flash that offers up to 720p video recording support. It also features a 2,000 mAh battery with a basic power adapter in the box. It comes in with Android 11 (Go Edition) running out-of-the-box and it features Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with Single SIM and Dual-SIM LTE support.
Alcatel 1 (2021) is available starting at 59 euros in Volcano Black and AI Aqua color options.
