The ultra-low pricing of telecom services in India is on it’s ending days as the major telecom companies of the country Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vodafone Idea has announced to hike the prices of their existing plans by up to 40% effective from this week.
Airtel and Vodafone Idea has announced the new plans that will be effective from December 3rd and Reliance Jio is expected to announce the revised plans that will be effective from December 6th.
Airtel
Bharti Airtel’s new prices will come in effect from December 3rd. The base plan of all-in-one (AIO) services of Rs. 129 for 28 days that offer unlimited calling, 300 SMS, 2GB of data will now cost Rs. 149.
The Rs. 169 and Rs. 199 plans have been merged into a new Rs. 248 plan for 28 days with unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, 1.5GB per day data and Airtel Thanks benefits.
Airtel AIO Unlimited (no FUP) Plans:
Airtel Rs. 219 plan: 28 days validity, 1GB per day data, 100 SMS per day, it also includes free Hello Tunes, unlimited Wynk music, and Airtel Xstream app.
Airtel Rs. 399 plan: 56 days validity, 1.5GB per day data, 100 SMS per day, it also includes free Hello Tunes, unlimited Wynk music, and Airtel Xstream app premium.
Airtel Rs. 449 plan: 56 days validity, 2GB per day data, 90 SMS per day, it also includes free Hello Tunes, unlimited Wynk music, and Airtel Xstream app premium.
The older 82 days AIO plans will now cost Rs. 598 (1.5GB/D) and Rs. 698 (2GB/D) data but with a validity of 84 days. You can also check all the plans mentioned below:
Vodafone Idea
Vodafone Idea’s new prices will also come in effect from December 3rd. The company has announced new plans that include the validity of 2-day, 28-day, 84-day and 1-year (365-days). The AIO combo plans start at Rs. 49 with Rs. 38 talk time, 100MB data, 2.5p/sec tariff, and 28-day validity.
(Note: All FUP have been removed from Unlimited Plans of Vodafone and Idea)
The AIO ‘unlimited’ plans start at Rs. 149 for a 28-day plan with a total of 2GB data, unlimited voice (FUP of 1,000 mins for off-net calls) and 300 SMS, while the Rs. 249 plan for 28 days with unlimited calling (FUP of 1,000 mins for off-net calls), 100 SMS per day, 1.5GB per day data.
Vodafone launched Rs. 219 and Rs. 449 plan limited to circles such as Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Haryana, and Karnataka.

Rs. 449 Plan: Unlimited Calling, 2GB per day data, 100 SMS for 56 days
Reliance Jio
As announced earlier Reliance Jio’s new prices are already here that will be effective from December 6th.
Reliance Jio New Prices for All-in-One services with 1.5GB/day Data:
Rs. 199: 28-day validity, 1,000 minutes for other networks
Rs. 399: 56-day validity, 2,000 minutes for other networks
Rs. 555: 84-day validity, 3,000 minutes for other networks
Reliance Jio New Prices for All-in-One services with 2GB/day Data:
Rs. 249: 28-day validity, 1,000 minutes for other networks
Rs. 444: 56-day validity, 2,000 minutes for other networks
Rs. 559: 84-day validity, 3,000 minutes for other networks
Reliance Jio New Prices for All-in-One with 336 Days (the company calls it 12 months unlimited plan) validity:
Rs. 2,121: 336 days validity, 1.5GB per day Data, 12,000 minutes for other networks
Rs. 1,299: 336 days validity, 24GB total Data, 12,000 minutes for other networks
Reliance Jio New Affordable Prices:
The cheapest of all plans is Rs. 129 plan that offers 2GB of total high-speed data and 1,000 minutes of other network voice calls for 28 days.
There’s also a new Rs. 329 plan that offers a total of 6GB data and 3,000 minutes of other network voice calling for 84 days.
Note: All plans come with unlimited Jio-to-Jio user voice calling.
The company announced to increase prices by up to 40 percent but it will offer up to ‘300 percent more benefits’ than previous plans that don’t appears to be displayed in the new announcement.
