Sony has rolled out the new (version 7.00) system software update for the Playstation 4 and as teased earlier it brings in improvements to Party Function and Remote Play.
You can now increase the number of users in the Party function to up to 16 from eight, the new update also brings improved network connectivity and audio quality.
The new update also brings Remote Play feature to mobile devices running Android 5.0 or higher, this function was available on some mobile devices made by Sony since 2014 — now there’s a new Remote Play app in the Play store for anyone to download.
Remote Play feature was added to iOS earlier this year has also been updated and the so you can now display the controller at all times and lock the screen orientation.
Users can now use their DualShock 4 wireless controllers via Bluetooth for Remote Play on an Android, iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
