There are a lot of similarities and differences between current battle royale games like PUBG, Apex Legends, and Fortnite. The major difference is that unlike PUBG and Apex Legends, Fortnite has never added new maps to the game since its release, but it might be changing in the new future.
Users from Italy found that Fortnite’s entry on the App Store included a picture for a “Chapter 2” which appears to be a wildly different map that has boats and a lighthouse. The picture was removed quickly but there are other clues available to predict that a new map is somewhat on its way for Fortnite players to enjoy.
Looks like Apple has leaked a promotional image for Season 11 on the Italian Apple Store.

From the looks of it, we’re getting a new map. pic.twitter.com/2naPbsYvDA
The code inside the 10.30 version of the game leads to 12 brand new point of interest named as Beachy Bluffs, Camp Cod, Dirty Docks, Frenzy Farm, Holly Hedges, Lazy Lake, Mountain Meadow, Power Plant, Slurpy Swamp, Sunny Shores, Weeping Woods, Mountain Meadows.
Epic Games has also hinted that something dramatic change will be coming in the next season. A big in-game event slated for October 13th is described simply as “The End,” and the last loading screen of the season shows players waving farewell to the battle bus.
The question arises here is that will the new map replace the existing map or will be added to the game as an option as we have seen in PUBG and in Apex the new map was set as default. The most amusing thing about the new maps is that it makes you to change your playing strategies.
