Blackpink’s ‘Kill This Love’ will be live-streamed on Times Square’s largest screen

The K-Pop Four Female Group BLACKPINK is having moments of their life. Their latest song “Kill This Love” (caution its an earworm you might end up playing it on loop) is going to be live streamed on the biggest screen of New York City’s Times Square today at 11:50 PM ET.

BLACKPINK is the first all-female group to claim the top spot on the US iTunes chart in fifteen years since Destiny’s Child did it last in 2004. “Kill This Love” made set a new record of most views for any YouTube video marking 56.7 million views in its first 24 hours which surpassed Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next,” which had 55.4 million views in first 24 hours.

BLACKPINK will also become the first K-pop girl group to play Coachella in the festival’s 20-year history this coming Friday.

The screen also known as “The Beast” is 8 stories tall and spans an entire block. The Beast screen is currently owned by Google to advertise and the screen space has a current estimated rate of more than $2.5 million for four weeks.
