Samsung has launched the next-generation of its truly wireless earbuds Galaxy Buds Pro alongside the Galaxy S21 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event. The new Galaxy Buds Pro features a similar design as the Galaxy Buds Plus with inspiration from Galaxy Buds Live priced at $199 in three color options: black, silver, and purple.
The new Galaxy Buds Pro offers a better battery life with a capacity of running up to 13 hours in a single charge (20 hours if ANC is off) with the charging case adding up to 22 hours of charging. According to the company, the earbuds can be charged within three minutes using USB-C to offer a playback time of one hour.
The Galaxy Buds Pro includes dual dynamic drivers with an 11mm woofer and a 6.5mm tweeter which offers a better audio quality compared to the previous model and it includes three microphones to improve voice call performance with a voice pickup unit to help you come through clearly on phone and video calls.
The company has also added 360 audio “featuring Dolby Head Tracking technology” when watching videos on a Samsung phone or tablet that is similar to Apple’s spatial audio.
It offers IPX7 splash-resistant technology that means it can handle a light drizzle, a little sweat and even the accidental spill.
The Galaxy Buds Pro are available for pre-orders today and it will be available for sale starting from January 15th.
