Samsung has launched the next-generation of its truly wireless earbuds Galaxy Buds Plus at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The new Galaxy Buds Plus features a similar design as the Galaxy Buds with some upgrades and improvements priced at $149 in three color options: black, white, and blue.
The new Galaxy Buds Plus offers a better battery life with a capacity of running up to 11 hours in a single charge with the charging case adding up to 22 hours of charging. According to the company, the earbuds can be charged within three minutes using USB-C to offer a playback time of one hour.
The Galaxy Buds Plus includes dual dynamic drivers which offer a better audio quality compared to the previous model and now it includes three microphones to improve voice call performance.
It includes a shortcut to active Spotify on your phone by pressing and holding the left earbud, one shortcoming of the earbuds are that it doesn’t offer active noise cancellation making it a step behind the Apple Airpods Pro.
It offers IPX2 splash-resistant technology that means it can handle a light drizzle, a little sweat and even the accidental spill. We can expect Samsung offering them with recently launched Galaxy S20 series.
Available for Pre-order in the US.
