South-Korean electronics giant LG is no longer in the smartphone business but the company is keeping it’s existing smartphone accessories business alive and the company has launched the LG Tone Free DFP8W True Wireless Earbuds adding a new device to its lineups of earbuds that comes in with the UV light charging case that kills bacteria’s while charging your earbuds for safe and clean sound experience.
LG Tone Free DFP8W earbuds comes in with the in-ear earbuds with a small tip for smooth grip, the charging case of the earbuds offers a matte finish with an indicator LED and UV Nano branding on the charging case.
It offers 8mm dynamic drivers developed with Meridian Audio and feature three microphones out of which two are dedicated for calls and the third one is used for ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) with Ambient Mode that uses Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity with support for multi pairing up to five devices including Google Fast Pairing and Windows Swift Pair protocols.
LG Tone Free DFP8W has small touch-sensitive surface on each earbud that lets you make calls, control music playback, and activate Google Assistant. These earbuds also come with an IPX4 water resistance rating, which should make them easy to use as workout headphones.
The company says that these earbuds can last up to 10 hours in a single charge (up to 6 hours with ANC On) and offers a total battery life of up to 24 hours with the charging case (up to 14 hours with ANC On).
LG Tone Free DFP8W is expected to be available for 180 euros in Europe and there is n official word has been announced for release in other countries yet.
