German Auto manufacturer Porsche has unveiled Taycan 4S its third all-electric vehicle its a mid-range variant of its Porsche Taycan EV series which was earlier launched in two variants Taycan Turbo (500 kW) and Taycan Turbo S (560 kW).

The new Porsche Taycan 4S has the same body design as the Taycan Turbo it has a dual-electric-motor setup which generates up to 420 kW the equivalent of 563 horsepower. It comes in two battery sizes, 79.2 kWh (Performance Battery) and 93.4 kWh (Performance Battery Plus) which appears that it will be soft in performance but will provide more range that the Turbo variant.
Despite having less horsepower it can still go from 0 to 60 miles per hour (0-100 kilometers per hour) in just 3.8 seconds with hitting a top speed of 155 mph (~249.45 kmph)
It shares the same components as the Taycan Turbo like the brakes and the 800-volt technology that can charge the car from 5 percent to 80 percent in just under 23 minutes when pinned up to chargers that can charge at 270kW. It also features the same interior, infotainment system and the luxurious feel of a Porsche.
Porsche says that the user will get 407 km of range out of the Performance Battery Taycan 4S, and 463 km out of the Performance Battery Plus model in a single charge.
The Taycan 4S is now available for order at a starting price of $103,800 that has a 79.2 kWh battery back and you have to pay $110,380 for the 93.4 kWh “Performance Battery Plus.” variant which is quite reasonable than the Taycan Turbo and Turbo S. The company has also announced that it will be available in a new Frozen Blue Metallic color.
Both the new models will arrive in the US in the spring of 2020. Next, we can expect the Taycan Cross Turismo, which the company promised to unveil by the end of 2019.
