The German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has announced the new Mercedes-Benz electric concept van at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Mercedes-Benz is one of the major commercial vehicles manufacturer in the world.
The Mercedes-Benz EQV concept van as it called by the company has a 100kWh battery spread all over the floor that can travel up to 249 miles (~400 kilometres) on a full charge. A 150kW (210 horsepower) electric motor system in the front axle of the van will provide some more power. The six seater van (optionable for 7 or 8) is also equipped with the Mercedes-Benz voice activated MBUX infotainment system. The van is covered with luxurious interiors with dark blue and black leather.
The EQ concept van is a new addition to the Mercedes-Benz’s lineup of Electric Vehicles. The company says that the final production version of the EQV will be displayed in the Frankfurt Motor Show which will be held in September this year. Mercedes-Benz displayed their Formula E car which will participate in the Formula E racing this year at the Geneva Motor Show earlier.
