The South Korean auto manufacturer Hyundai has finally unveiled the new Kona with a new design for the conventional and mild-hybrid version, but the new design will be applied to the all-electric version of the SUV. However, the company has said that the new version of the car will follow the same powertrain of the current version.
The Hyundai Kona comes in with a 39.2 kWh battery pack that has an ARAI-certified range of 452 kilometers on a single charge. It offers a maximum power of 134 bhp, max torque of 395 Nm and it can go 0 to 100 kmph in 9.7 seconds.
The new design of the Hyundai Kona is more sleek and sophisticated with upgrades to the connectivity/infotainment and standard features with more appealing design both inside and outside of the vehicle.
Since it’s introduction in 2017, Hyundai has sold over 228,000 Kona in Europe which has its production unit in the Czech Republic.
