Dacia unveiled the Spring Electric, the company’s first all-electric affordable car designed to offer a comfortable city driving experience that will be available in the Spring of 2021.
The Dacia Spring Electric features a tall design similar to the Skoda Citigo iV measures at 3.74 meters long, 1.77 meters wide (mirrors included) and stands 1.52 meters tall. The wheelbase of the car measures at 2.42 meters (95.4 inches).
Dacia Spring Electric comes in with a 26.8 kWh battery pack that offers 44 horsepower to generate a top speed of 125 km/h (78 mph) and it takes about 15 seconds to reach 100 km/h from standing still.
It offers a maximum range of 295 kilometers (183 miles) as per the WLTP City cycle making it efficient for daily commuters. It comes with a basic 6.6 kW charger but the company also offers a 30 kW charger that can charge the car faster (sold separately).
The company has not announced the price of the car yet, but it is expected to be priced under €20,000 once it hits the market in the spring of 2021.
