Citroen has introduced the e-Berlingo compact electric van that follows almost similar specifications as the Combo-e Life a new compact electric family van by PSA’s Opel and Vauxhall in Europe.
Citroën ë-Berlingo comes in with a 50 kWh battery (216 cells and 18 modules) that powers a 100 kW and 260 Nm electric motor that goes from 0-100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 11.2 seconds and generates a top speed of 135 km/h (84 mph) and up to 280 kilometers (174 miles) of WLTP range.
Citroën ë-Berlingo offers an onboard charger with single-phase 7.4 kW that takes 7 hours and 30 minutes for full-charging or the three-phase charger 11 kW that takes 5 hours for full charging and it also offers up to 100 kW of DC fast charging support that can charge the vehicle from 0-80% in about 30 minutes.
It is available in two lengths (4.4 m and 4.75 m), both with either five or seven seats. The company offers an eight-year or 160,000 km (100,000 miles) battery warranty.
The pricing of the vehicle will be available in the future and it will arrive in showrooms in Q4 2021.
