BMW has revealed the i4 Concept which was earlier scheduled to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, 2020 which got canceled due to Coronavirus Outbreak which has reached now reached more than 70 countries around the world.
BMW i4 Concept features a really big grille on the front that makes it look very different than the BMW i3 Concept while the Big Grille is for a different purpose the company calls “Intelligence Panel” may come with sensors placed on it since the car has no engine.
BMW says the i4 Concept uses a single electric motor capable of producing 530 horsepower (395 kilowatts) that generates from an 80 kWh battery that powers from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 124 miles per hour.
It offers an estimated EPA range of 270 miles and a WLTP range of 373 miles.
BMW i4 Concept
BMW will manufacture the new i4 at its major plant in Munich, Germany. The company says it plans to invest about €200 million (approximately $222 million) to retool the factory.
BMW i4 concept is an all-electric preview car that will not go into production till 2021 but we can expect some of the features of the car to be making presence when the BMW i4 will come in the future and the company plans to have a million EVs on the road by the end of 2021.
