US-based EV startup Alpha Motor Corporation has revealed its old-school style electric pickup truck named Wolf, the third EV by AMC since the launch of Ace Coupe and Jax CUV starting at $36,000 (without tax incentives) in the US.
Alpha Wolf comes in with single motor front-wheel drive and dual motor all-wheel drive configurations that the company claims offer a driving range of about 250-275 miles, hits 0-60 mph in just 6.2 seconds and a towing capacity of 3,000 pounds. The company has not revealed the hauling capacity of the vehicle but the bed size is the same as most pickup tricks.
The company hasn’t revealed the battery pack but it is expected to be between 75-85 kWh with rapid charger (details not available), it will also include battery cooling and healing system.
On the outside, the Alpha Wolf offers a bull bar with fog lights with integrated indicator lights, the vehicle offer mud-terrain tires comes in 16- or 18-inch wheels. It also offers similar bed roll bars on the back with additional lighting.
On the inside, the Alpha Wold features a nice interior with a digital cluster, upscaled seats, a premium audio system and a large touchscreen center panel with four USB ports and center console inplace of a middle seat. The company says that the interior of the vehicle is “designed for replaceability.”
Alpha Wolf is expected to be starting delivered in 2023.
