Honor Magicbook 15 with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU launched in India

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has finally launched the Honor MagicBook 15 the company’s first notebook in India that comes in with the AMD processor and fast-charging priced at Rs. 42,990 that is designed to challenge the existing notebook available in India.

Notably, the Honor MagicBook 15 was launched globally in February this year.

Honor MagicBook 15 specifications

The Honor MagicBook 15 has a 15.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with an 87% screen-to-body ratio and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It comes with TÜV Rheinland certification to reduce the blue light effect and offers 178-degree viewing angles.

It comes in powered with the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU and Radeon Vega 8 GPU, it comes in coupled with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB of PCIe NVMe SSD internal storage.

The device comes equipped with a two-in-one fingerprint sensor power button for secure logins and a pop-up webcam in the device that remains hidden when not in use.

It comes in with a 65W fast charger that uses a USB-C port for charging and the company says that it can charge the device from 0-50% in just 30 minutes, while the battery lasts for up to 6.3 hours in a single full charge.

Honor MagicBook 15 includes an S-shaped fan design that has 49% more fan blades that improves heat dissipation by 38 percent. For connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a USB 2.0, USB 3.0, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Honor MagicBook 15 is priced at Rs. 42,990 in India and it will be available on sale starting from August 6th in a Mystic Silver color.

For the first sale, the company is offering the device for Rs. 3,000 discount that takes the price to Rs. 39,990.
