South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched the Galaxy M02 adding a new entry-level smartphone to its lineups in India that comes after the launch of Galaxy M02s in India.

Galaxy M02 has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels resolution) Infinity-V PLS TFT display with a 19:9 aspect ratio screen and 81.8% screen-to-body ratio that features a dewdrop notch on the center of the screen that holds a 5MP (f/2.2) selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.
It comes in power with Mediatek MT6739W chipset paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card slot. It does not offer a fingerprint sensor for security but offers AI face unlock support.
It features a vertical dual-lens camera setup with a 13MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a 2MP macro lens. It includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W quick charge support using a micro USB port.
On connectivity, it offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0 with Dual-SIM 4G support.
Galaxy M02 starts at Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB/32GB base variant while the price of the 3GB RAM variant will be announced soon
It is available in four black, gray, blue, and red color options in India.
