Chinese tech giant Oppo has launched the Oppo A53s adding a new device to its budget and mid-range Oppo A series that offers similar specifications as the Oppo A53 launched this year.

Oppo A53s has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) 90Hz refresh rate IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 82.9% screen-to-body ratio it features a punch hole cut out on the top left of the display that holds an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with soft bezels at the bottom of the screen.
It comes in powered with the Snapdragon 460 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage (UFS 2.1) that can be expanded up to 256GB using a dedicated microSD card slot. It includes a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device for authentication.
It features a rectangular triple-lens camera setup that has a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor with PDAF, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor on the back with an LED flash.
Oppo A53s has a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support via USB Type-C port that can last “all-day” on a single charge. On connectivity, it offers dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It comes in with Android 10 based ColorOS 7.2 running out-of-the-box with multiple gaming features like Game Boost 2.0, and it weighs 186 grams.
