OnePlus have officially launched the new OnePlus 8T at the virtually-held global launch event on Wednesday.
OnePlus 8T has a 6.55-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 91.1% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Protection screen. It features a tiny punch hole cutout on the top left of the screen that holds a 16MP (f/2.4) Sony IMX471 sensor with HDR and 1080p video calling support.
OnePlus 8T is powered by the Snapdragon 865 5G chipset coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
OnePlus 8T features a new rectangular quad-lens camera setup which includes a 48MP (f/1.7) Sony IMX586 image sensor with PDAF and OIS support, a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens (123-degree FOV), a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP monochrome lens with dual-LED flash.
OnePlus 8T camera is packed with multiple features like video stabilization, up to 4K Time-lapse video recording, 1080p super slow-mo video recording at 240fps and much more.
It comes in with Android 11 based on Oxygen OS 11 running out-of-the-box, it features stereo speakers and a new haptic motor for better performance in mobile gaming.
It has a 4,500 mAh battery with the new Warp Charge 65 (65W) that can charge the device from 0-100% in just 39 minutes and the company says that in just 15 minutes of charge it offers enough battery for the whole day.
It features USB power delivery that can be used to charge other devices including Nintendo Switch,
On connectivity, it offers dual band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB-C (3.1) port. It includes a new cooling system that features a vapor chamber about 285% larger than the OnePlus 7T.
Pricing and Availability:
The base variant of the OnePlus 8T 8GB +128GB is priced at Rs. 42,999 and the OnePlus 8T with 12GB of RAM and 256GB is priced at Rs. 45,999 in India.
It will be available on Amazon from October 16th in two stunning color options named as Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver.
